Karen Gesell, 72, of Mt. Vernon, IL, died at 9:30 a. m. Saturday, August 10, 2013 at her home.      Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p. m. Tuesday, August 12, 2013 at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Benton.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
