Lisa D. Earls, 55, of St. Louis, Missouri and formerly of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her home in St. Louis, Missouri. Lisa was born on Wednesday, April 30, 1958 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois the daughter of the late Donald L. and Norma L. (Jones) Fairchild.  She was first married to Jan Zedalis.  She married Verner Earls on September 25, 1999 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Surviving family members include her mother: Norma Fairchild of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; husband: Verner Earls of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter: Lauren Zedalis of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Her father and one sister: Kathy Fairchild Kirkpatrick preceded her in death.   Lisa was an insurance broker and administrative assistant; she was raised in First United Methodist Church and was a past member of the Mt. Vernon Rotary Club; she loved her friends and family, enjoyed entertaining and cooking for them.   CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Reverend Victor Long will officiate. VISITATION: In honor of her wishes, she was cremated and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. For those who wish, memorials may be given to Endangered Wolf Center in St. Louis, Missouri or to First United Methodist Church in Mt.
