Jonnie D. Beppler, 39, of Dexter, Missouri and formerly of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 6:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at his home in Dexter, Missouri.  Jonnie was born on August 24, 1973 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Jack and Janet (Buchanan) Beppler.  Surviving family members include his parents: Jack and Janet Beppler of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; grandfather: Herbert Buchanan and wife Barbara of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 2 sons: Skylar Beppler and Alex Beppler both of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; daughter: Destaney Beppler of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 2 sisters: Tina Matthews and husband Gary of McLeansboro, Illinois and Cathie Helverson and husband Wade of Bonnie, Illinois; several nieces, nephews, cousins and 2 great nephews also survive. His maternal grandmother and paternal grandparents preceded him in death.    Jonnie worked with heavy equipment in the construction business. While he was in Mt. Vernon owned and operated Beppler Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 2791.   Prayer Service: will follow at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Jack Johnson will officiate. VISITATION: In honor of his wishes, he was cremated and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 5 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
