This obit below made me think about the various Williams families around southern IL. My Williams line was in Jefferson County, IL and I just got my cousin Ike Williams to send for DNA test kit from FamilyTreeDNA. Anyone else doing DNA test for Williams males? I remember as a kid when we would go to my grandparents house in Valier, more than one of the kids would say "there's Tom Williams' house" when we went by. I don't know how we knew it was Tom Williams' house, but we knew. With all the Williams connections I have , I must be related to him. I do know that I am related to his wife through my Lewis line. Also her sister was married to a Dees. and I was friends with that Dees family in Sesser.
