    2. This is the obit. of Birdie Fay Martin Crosno. I did not find this obit in the archives. Her Husband, Harold's obit. is in the archives. Birdie is part of my Brown Family. This Birdie should not be confused with Birdie V. Hodge Crosno, the daughter of Wm. A. Hodge & Minnie A Fowler. Minnie's mother, Mary McLean/McLain is a sister to my Great Great Grandmother, Sarah Jennette McLean Loman. Bob The Pantagraph, Bloomington, IL, February 14, 2000 MAROA - Birdie Fay Crosno, 86, of Maroa, formerly of Clyde, N.C., died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 13, 2000) at Crestview Nursing Center, Clinton. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Texas Township Cemetery, Clinton, the Rev. J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Memorials may be made to Texas Township Cemetery, Clinton. Mrs. Crosno was born on March 14, 1913, at Mount Vernon, a daughter of Harl and Bertha Rogers Martin. She married Harold Crosno on Dec. 5, 1931. He survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Patricia Brooke, Maroa; and Betty Tefft, Jupiter, Fla.; two brothers, Warren Martin, Clinton; Roy Martin, Washington; one sister, Beulah Hayes, Mount Vernon; and five great-grandchildren. Other survivors include five grandchildren; Tawnya Fogerty of Tennessee; Steve Tefft of Ohio; and David Tefft, Penney Wally and Noelle Tefft, all of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Paul Martin, Peoria; Mirvin Martin, Sessor (sic.); and Coy Martin, Mount Vernon. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Terry Joe Taylor. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Sessor (sic.).
