Steven Keith Pauley, 63, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 8:24 P.M. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Steven was born on Monday, July 10, 1950 in Boone County, Indiana the son of Richard Keith and Betty (Armstrong) Pauley.  He married Monna Baughman at 11:05 A.M. on June 22, 1974 in Washington, Indiana.  Surviving family members include his mother: Betty Pauley of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; wife: Monna Pauley of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 3 sisters: Linda Conroy and husband Kevin of San Diego, California, Annette Connaughton and husband Steve of Chandler, Indiana and Bonnie Payne and husband Julian of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; mother-in-law: Betty Baughman of Shelburne, Indiana; 2 sisters-in-law: Janice Moore and husband Joe of Salem, Indiana and Janet Kearschner and husband Ronald of Salem, Indiana; 2 brothers-in-law: Gary Baughman of Shelburne, Indiana and Roy Baughman of Sullivan, Indiana; several nieces and nephews also survive. His father and father-in-law: Howard Roy Baughman preceded him in death.    Steven was employed by the Mt. Vernon Appellate Courthouse was a maintenance worker. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Kiwanis Club for over 25 years where he served for some time as the Distinguished Lieutenant Governor. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.   FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Christian Fellowship Church in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. VISITATION: will be held from 5:00 to service time at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Christian Fellowship Church in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. GRAVESIDE SERVICES: will be held at 1:00 P.M. EST on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana. For those who wish, memorials may be given to Mt.
