David Lee Smothers, 62, of Effingham, passed away at his home Thursday morning, Sept. 19, 2013.He was born in Mt. Vernon on Sept. 19, 1951, the son of Harry Ray and Jessie (Lyle) Smothers. He married Delsia M. (Cates) on Feb. 16, 1973.He is survived by his wife, Delsia Smothers of Effingham; two daughters, Amanda Frazier and husband Chris of Altamont and Carla Fletcher and husband Jason of Farina; son, Ryan Smothers of Effingham; fiive (OBIT)
