John Mark Mitroy, 57, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 8:39 A.M. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at his home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.  Mark was born on Friday, January 27, 1956 in Centralia, Illinois the son of the late John R. and Melvadine (Monical) Mitroy.  Surviving family members include his sister: Monica Uren and husband Randy of Spring, Texas; 2 nephews: John T. Krebs of Spring, Texas and Joseph Kreps and wife Angie of Spring, Texas; aunt: Irene Vaught of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. His parents preceded him in death.    Mark worked for Nelson Concrete and Mt. Vernon Neon and was of the Protestant Faith.  GRAVESIDE MEMORIAL SERVICES: will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Reverend Brad Henson will officiate. VISITATION: Mark will be cremated and his family and friends will gather from 5 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. INTERMENT: Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
