    2. Lois Jeanette Winkleman Durkey, 72, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 5:35 A.M. on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at her home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Lois was born on Tuesday, July 8, 1941 in Pensacola, Florida the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lillie Belle (Hall) Nall.  She was first married to Danny Ray Winkleman.  She married William Edward “Bill” Durkey in June 1981 in Harco, Illinois and he preceded her in death on June 27, 2003. Surviving family members include her 2 sons: Dennis Winkleman of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Todd Winkleman and wife Tammy of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 2 daughters: Cindy Bruce and husband Robert of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Debbie Field and husband Chris of Carrier Mills, Illinois; grandchildren: Rhea Eva Winkleman, Daniel Winkleman, Brandi McCain and husband Dustin, Sydney Winkleman, Dawsen Winkleman, Casey Gustavion and husband Zach, Cody Basiano and husband Steve, Heidi Goss and husband Jim, Kristen Betz and husband B.J., Derek Field and wife Rachel; great granddaughter: Cadie Goss and two other great grandchildren expected soon; brother: Tommy Nall and wife Ethel of Pensacola, Florida; sister: Janice Barnett and husband Charlie of Bay Minette, Alabama; several nieces and nephews also survive. Her parents, husband and one brother: Marcus Nall preceded her in death.    Lois was a homemaker and a member of Camp Ground Baptist Church.  FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Reverend Dan Lovin and Reverend Benton Fitzjerrells will officiate. VISITATION: will be held from 5 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. INTERMENT: Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. For those who wish, memorials may be given to Hospice of the Good Samaritan and to Camp Ground Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864.
