Judy Louise Burnett, 73, of Opdyke, Illinois passed away at 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Judy was born on Wednesday, July 10, 1940 in Jefferson County, Illinois the daughter of George Foster Davis and Betty May ( Johnson) Davis.  She married Tony Burnett on November 13, 1957 in Shawneetown, Illinois. Surviving family members include her mother: Betty Davis of Rockford, Illinois; husband: Tony Burnett of Opdyke, Illinois; son: Tony Richard Burnett, Jr. and wife Sara of Opdyke, Illinois; 3 daughters: Diane Renee Huston and husband Darrell of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Debra Ellen Johnson and husband Carl of Opdyke, Illinois and Darla May McClain and husband Ted of Opdyke, Illinois; 3 sisters: Patricia Ham and husband Orlando of Opdyke, Illinois, Nora Ferger and husband Bob of Rockford, Illinois and Barbara Heidenrich and husband Jim of Rockford, Illinois; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Her father and one grandson: Darrell Huston, Jr. preceded her in death.    Judy a Licensed Practical Nurse, she helped her husband with the operation of their farm and was a member of Opdyke Baptist Church.  GRAVESIDE SERVICES: will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. Reverend Frank Huston will officiate. In honor of Judy's wishes, there will be no visitation held. INTERMENT: Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Arthritis Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O.
