Folks in Jamaica Bay and those looking to purchase a home there wanted to live on Nevis Court because that was the "fun place" where the constant parties and get-togethers happened. After moving to Missouri he greatly missed his friends in Jamaica Bay and Florida. Ernie had the ability to fix anything. If there wasn't a part available to fix something he would just manufacture his own. He loved to help others and only expected a "Thank You" in return.
