Bobby Ray Wright, 59, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 3:15 P.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Bobby Ray was born on November 3, 1953 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois the son of the late James Frank and Freda Catherine (Austin) Wright.  He married Gloria Lynn Leuking. Surviving family members include his sons: Robert Joseph Wright and wife Angela of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and David Zick and wife Brenda of Memphis, Tennessee; daughter: Nichoel Snodgrass and husband Craig of Belle, Missouri; grandsons: Skylan Richards of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Gavin Snodgrass of Belle, Missouri and Dylan Wright of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; granddaughters: Allyson Grace Wright of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Alexandria Wright of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Erica Sprague of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 3 brothers: Danny Wright and wife Debbie of Belle, Missouri, David Wright and wife Helen of Griffith, Indiana and Steve Wright of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; sister: Jane Linville of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; several great grandchildren survive; several nieces and nephews also survive. His parents, two brothers: Kenny Wright and Jerry Cantrell, an infant sister: Alice, a nephew, Michael Wright, sister: Caroline Cantrell, special friend: Vicki Hicks and several aunts and uncles preceded him in death.    Bobby Ray served in the U.S. Navy and worked at World Color Press in Effingham, Illinois. He loved fishing, NASCAR and spending time outdoors and with his family.     Private Graveside Services will be held. Mr. Randy Steele will officiate. VISITATION: will be held from 5 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. INTERMENT: Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
