Tracy Lee Brumfield, 51, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 7:46 A.M. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at his home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Tracy was born on August 10, 1961 in Salem, Illinois the son of Russell Thomas Brumfield and Shirley Ann (Tracy) Brumfield.  He married Pam Ackley on June 20, 1991 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in rural Mt. Vernon, Illinois.  Surviving family members include his mother: Shirley Brumfield of Patoka, Illinois; wife: Pam Brumfield of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; son: Kaleb Mayoral of Centralia, Illinois; 3 daughters: Kacie Downes of Centralia, Illinois, Sara Angus and husband Bobby of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Shonnah Timmons and husband Travis of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 2 brothers: Tom Brumfield and wife Betty of Patoka, Illinois and Curtis Brumfield of Patoka, Illinois; 3 sisters: Vicki Stanford and husband Joe of Junction City, Illinois, Cheryl Austin and husband Paul of Patoka, Illinois and Nita Engler and husband Randy of Odin, Illinois; 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. His father preceded him in death.    Tracy was a motel security guard, he loved playing guitar and singing, playing pool, spending time with his family and grandchildren; he loved the St. Louis Cardinals and NASCAR.      GRAVESIDE SERVICES: will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Mr. Randy Sells will officiate. VISITATION: will be held from 5 to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. INTERMENT: Sursa Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois.
