Stella Marie Donoho, 90, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 4:52 A.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Stella was born on Friday, August 11, 1922 in Lincoln County, Colorado the daughter of the late Albert B. and Lenora J. (Brown) White. She married James Melvin Donoho on February 14, 1940 in Perryville, Missouri and he preceded her in death on October 16, 1976. Surviving family members include her 2 sons: Lavern Donoho and wife Patti of Cleburne, Texas and Ron Donoho and wife Carla of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 2 daughters: Barbara Voyles and husband David of Wayne City, Illinois and Shirley M. Pepple and husband Bob of Bluford, Illinois; 9 grandchildren; Tony Donoho and wife Amy of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Chris Donoho and wife Melanie of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Chad Pepple of Bluford, Illinois, Jeffrey K. Donoho of Commerce City, Colorado, Shelly Duffer of Seafood, Virginia, Misty Wilson of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Faith Bray and husband Justin of Rose Bud, Arkansas, Kristina Donoho of Raleigh, North Carolina and Shannon Donoho of Linden, Virginia; brother: Loren White and wife Emma of Grand Junction, Colorado; 13 great grandchildren: several nieces and nephews also survive. Her parents, husband, eight brothers: John, Winfield, Chester, Paul, Floyd, Harold, Milford and Eugene, one sister: Laura Partridge, one son: Jim Donoho and one grandson: Todd Michael Donoho preceded her in death. Stella was a caregiver, was an active member of Park Avenue Baptist Church, was involved in the church's Food Pantry, was active in church mission work and was everyone's Prayer Warrior. FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Reverend Merle Fullerton and Reverend Gary Davenport will officiate. VISITATION: will be held from 5 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. INTERMENT: Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. For those who wish, memorials may be given to Angel's Cove Maternity Center and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P,O, Box 721, Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864
