Gladys A. Lee, 91, of Evansville passed away on July 14, 2013 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home. She was born in West Frankfort, Illinois to Ralph and Cecil Hicks. As Gladys Hicks, she married Earl G. Lee. He preceded her in death in 1992. Gladys had been a member of Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston, Missouri for many years. She was a loving caregiver to all those around her. Survivors include her children, Linda (Bill) Greenfield of San Antonio, Texas; Nancy (Mike) Chandler of Evansville, Indiana; Richard (Cortney) Lee of Haslet, Texas; and Ralph Lee of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16 at Sunset Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Private burial services will be held in West Frankfort, Illinois. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Pathways Unit at Good Samaritan and to Deaconess Hospice Care for the kindness, respect and dignity shown to Gladys.
