Carmen Nadine Miller, age 92 of Centralia, died at 12:28 pm on Friday, October 25, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.   Nadine was a member of the Church of Christ 161 East, and a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and housewife, and had in her earlier years worked at the Hollywood Candy Factory, and the Jefferson County Sale Barn.  Funeral services for Carmen Nadine Miller will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Church of Christ 161 East with Minister Stephen Nail officiating. Interment will follow at Boyd Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia, and after 12:30 pm on Monday at the Church.  For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Church of Christ 161 East, the American Heart Association, of the American Diabetes Assiciation, and will be accepted at the Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia, who is in charge of arrangements.  Please visit irvinfuneralhome.com to leave an online condolence for the family. Nadine is survived by 2 daughters - Carmen Nolte and husband James of Iuka and Kathryn Elliott of Mt. Vernon; brother - Charles Lee Gregory and wife Vivian of Dix; daughter in law - Marilyn Miller of Salem; 6 grandchildren - Greg Miller, Christina DeBoard, Scott Nolte, David Kingsley, Greg Kingsley, and Jennifer Ferguson; 10 great grandchildren; and also many nieces and nephews. Nadine Miller was born on March 12, 1921 in Centralia, IL, the daughter of Manzie “Dutch” and Ada (Ford) Gregory. Nadine married Earl Leroy Miller on August 5, 1939 in St. Charles, MO and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2003.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son - David Miller; grandson - Timothy Nolte; great grandson Kyle Ferguson; sister  - Patricia Owens; and son in laws - David Kingsley, and Roger Elliott.
