WEST FRANKFORT - Donald D. Richerson, 73, died at 6:31 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Grace Awakenings Church in Benton with Pastor Ken Petty officiating. He was born Sept. 21, 1940, in West Frankfort to Harold and Audria (Ginger) Richerson. Survivors include his wife, Marcia Richerson of West Frankfort; sons, Scott Richerson of Michigan, Steven Richerson of Mount Vernon and Andy Williams of West Frankfort; daughters, Susan (Larry) Poole of Mount Vernon and Stacy Snyder, Lisa (Scott) Padget and Diann Richerson, all of West Frankfort; sister, Elva Lynn Seward of Carol Stream; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brett Richerson; brother, Wayne Richerson; and grandson, Zak Richerson. Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in charge of arrangements.
