Barbara Jane Wilson, 78, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 7:44 P.M. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Barbara was born on Sunday, July 14, 1935 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois the daughter of the late George R. and Eulah (Richardson) Morgan.  She married Herman Wilson on July 14, 1956 at South Hickory Hill Christian Church in Jefferson County, Illinois.  Surviving family members include her husband: Herman Wilson of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 2 sons: Bradley K. Wilson and wife Eileen of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Carl E. Wilson and wife Paula of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 3 grandchildren: Amanda F. Day and husband Darrell of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Katie Williams and husband Josh of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Kayla Niederhofer and husband Cody of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; one great grandchild expected soon; 2 brothers: Wayne Morgan and wife Verla of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Paul Davis Morgan of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 2 sisters: Betty Copple and husband James of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Juanita Ayers and husband Gene of Champaign, Illinois; several nieces and nephews also survive. Her parents and one brother: George Morgan preceded her in death.    Barbara was a homemaker and member of Waltonville Community Baptist Church   FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 1:00 p.M. on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Reverend Tim Reynolds will officiate. VISITATION: will be held from 5 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. INTERMENT: South Hickory Hill Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois.
