Please see below that Joe and Judy Herbert live in West Frankfort as of 2009. BENTON - Kirby Doxsie, 66, passed away Friday morning, June 19, 2009, at his home. He was born Aug. 14, 1942, in Benton, the son of Derling and Grace (Leonard) Doxsie. He married Judy (Herbert) on March 9, 1963, in Benton, and she survives. Mr. Doxie was a lifelong auto body repairman and mechanic. His life was his family, especially his three grandsons. His other interest was his Tuesday night music session with the band and friends. Mr. Doxie is survived by his wife, Judy Doxsie of Benton; two daughters, Toni Luster of Benton, and Jamie Conley and husband, Jim, of Tunnel Hill; three grandsons, Noah, Brody and Brendan; brother-in-law, JOE HERBERT and wife, CAROLLYN, of West Frankfort; sister-in-law, Jean Furlow and husband, Bill, of Christopher; sister-in-law Mary Doxsie of Benton; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Doxsie was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Travis; and three nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in Morton and Johnston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff Stark and Billy Grammer officiating. Burial will be in Masonic and Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 ! p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
