Una Pearl Periman, 69, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, in Herrin Hospital.She was born Feb. 15, 1944, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Eugene and Peg (March) Hinderer.She married Ronald Kent Periman on June 20, 1964, in Donoho Prairie Christian Church, and he survives her in West Frankfort.Mrs. Periman graduated from Salem High School and attended Lincoln Christian College, and was a cook. She was a member of First Christian Church in West Frankfort.In addition to her husband, Ronald Kent Periman of West Frankfort, she is survived by two sons, Darren Periman and wife, Kristie of Walnut Hill, and Mike Periman and wife, Starla, of West Frankfort; five grandchildren, R.J. Periman, Ressa Periman, Alecia Cauthan, James Ledbetter and Dustin Ledbetter; three great-grandchildren, Karisten Bejmovicz, Kylan Miller and Kali Cauthan; and two sisters, Virginia Wilkins of Kell, and Kay Tate and husband, Wayne, of Salem.She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Peg Hinderer; and a sister, Carlene Zacheis.Services for Mrs. Periman will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Little Grove Cemetery, with Jason Ishmael officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church in West Frankfort.Memorials may be made to Southern Illinois Christian Service Camp, and will be accepted at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.
