Marian S. Martin, 86, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 4:05 A.M. on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  She was born on Wednesday, January 19, 1927 in West Frankfort, Illinois to parents, Mathew and Anna (Dulumback) Sadnavitch.  She married Joseph Edward Martin in West Frankfort, Illinois on December 30, 1946.  He preceded her in death on March 23, 1997. Marian is survived by her Son:  Steve Martin and wife Alice of Mount Vernon, Illinois; Daughter:  Karen Buculo and husband Kenny of Broomfield, Colorado; four Grandchildren:  Beth Pense and husband Jason of Shiloh, Illinois, Andrea Adams and husband Seth of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Daniel Martin of Nashville, Tennessee, and Miranda Doss and husband Steve of Barnes Mill, Missouri; five Great Grandchildren:  Trevor Pense, Audrey Pense, Kyle Pense, Braxton Doss, and Kenley Adams (expected soon); two Sisters-in-Law:  Barbara Sadnavitch of Aurora Illinois and Virginia Grosco of Benton, Illinois.  Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Her parents, husband, two sisters: Patricia and Betty, and two brothers: Joe and Fred preceded her in death.   Marion worked as a Secretary at Mount Vernon Neon Sign for 21 years. She was a member of Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon as well as the American Legion Auxiliary, American Veterans Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the Ladies of the Moose.    Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in the Chapel at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois with Reverend Steve Doss officiating. INTERMENT: will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. In honor of Marian's wishes no public visitation will be held.
