Donna Kay Morton, age 48, of Kell, died Friday, October 11th, 2013 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  She was a homemaker and co-owner of Morton Oil Field.   Funeral services for Donna Kay Morton will be held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem, with Denise Burke presiding.  Burial in the Romine Prairie Cemetery in Kell.  Visitation will be from five to eight Tuesday night at the Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem.  Memorials may be made to the family. Donna Kay Morton is survived by father - C.W. Thorpe of Centralia; husband - Jack Morton of Kell, sons - Joseph Thorpe and wife Jessika of Kell; Curtis Thorpe of Kell, John Morton of Kell and Chris Morton of Kell; sister: Connie Kohut and husband Joe of Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren - Matthew, Trevyn, and Kaylyn Morton; brothers-in-law - Jim Morton and wife Pam of Iuka, Mike Morton and wife Brenda of Kell, and Bob Morton and wife Nancy of Kell, and Charlie Hendrichson of Kell; sister-in-law - Betty Lou Albert and husband Willard of Kell.   Donna Kay Morton was born on June 14th, 1965 in Centralia to C.W. Thorpe of Centralia and Betty (Campbell) Thorpe.  Her father survives while her mother preceded her in death.  She married Jack Morton of Kell.  They had been together since November 1987 and married on August 6th, 1994.  He survives.  She was preceded in death by son - Matthew Lynn Thorpe; brother - Steve Gwin, father and mother-in-law - C.H. Morton and wife Martha, and brother-in-law - John H. Morton.
