Maggie and August Geiger wer the parents of a daughter, Letha Mae Geiger, b. Oct. 31, 1932 d. Jan. 1, 1933 The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Tuesday, September 26, 1967 Maggie E. Geiger Dies At Age 64; Rites Thursday Mrs. Maggie Elizabeth Geiger died at 7:25 p.m. Monday at her home, 828 Airport Road at the age of 64 years, two months, and 26 days. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Roy Van Horn officiating. Burial will be in West Salem cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Geiger was born June 6, 1903, at Omaha, Ill., the daughter of Thomas and Mary Jane (Kiser) Bradford. In Mt. Vernon, in 1928, she was married to August Geiger, who survives. She is also survived by two brothers, John Bradford of Havana, Ill., nd (sic.) Earl Bradford of Mt. Vernon. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a sister. Mrs. Geiger was a member of Epworth Methodist church. For the past 20 years she had been a dealer for Rawleigh Products.
