The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Monday, February 3, 1964 P. R. Bullock, 61, Dies; Road Chief Of Shiloh Twp. P. R. Bullock of RFD 3, Mt. Vernon, Shiloh township highway commissioner, died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been a patient one day. He was 61 years, five months and 25 days old. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Myers Chapel. Burial will be in West Salem cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Bullock was born Aug. 6, 1902, in Jefferson county, the son of Everett and Allie (Wright) Bullock. He was a trucker and excavator. He was first married to Ruby Wilosn, (sic) who preceded him in death on March 30, 1959. On Sept. 13, 1963, at Salem, Ill., he was married to Florence Klebba, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. George Young and Mrs. Darrell Davis, both of Mt. Vernon; and two grandchildren.
