Daily Gate City, Keokuk, Iowa Posted: Tuesday, September 6, 2011 Obituaries Thelma M. Clinton 'Tee' Dycus Dec. 12, 1934 - Sept. 3, 2011 HAMILTON, Ill. - Thelma M. Clinton "Tee" Dycus, 76, of Hamilton, Ill., died at 3:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, in University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. She was born on Dec. 12, 1934, in Sesser, Ill., the daughter of Carl and Rosilee Moss Clinton. She married Bobbie P. Dycus on Sept. 19, 1953, in Mount Vernon, Ill. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2003. Survivors include: three daughters, Susie (Ronald) Schulz of Carthage, Ill., Carol Dycus of Hamilton and Mary Jane Dycus, also of Hamilton; two sons, Edward Dycus of Carthage and Larry Dycus of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Joshua Schulz of LaGrange, Mo., Jeremy Schulz of Carthage and Jennifer (Cory) Clostermery of Burnside, Ill.; three great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Jacob and Cara Colstermery; three brothers, Tommy Clinton of Woodlawn, Ill., Melvin Clinton of Ina, Ill., and James Clinton, also of Ina; two sisters, Betty Baltzel of Ewing, Ill., and Roberta England of Lewistown, Ill.; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dog "Little Bit." She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Katherine "A.J." Dycus; and a sister, Geneva Clinton. Thelma graduated from Mount Vernon High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Hamilton. She also was a member of the Women's VFW Auxiliary. Thelma was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, crafts, gardening and canning. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lamporte - St.Clair Funeral Home, Hamilton, with family meeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev.
