The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Monday, September 26, 1949 Mary W. Erbe Rites Tuesday Funeral services for Mrs. Mary W. Erbe of 1420 Westcott street will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p. m. at the Wesley Methodist church. The Rev. O. E. Connett will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel where friends may call. Mrs. Erbe died at 7:30 a. m. Saturday at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was born June 26. 1879 in Washington county, Ill., the daughter of August and Augusta (Ponser) Kramm. She was married to Frank Erbe who preceded her in death in 1944. Mrs. Erbe was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Rudolph Erbe; two brothers, Charles Kramm and William Kramm of DuBoise, Ill.; two sisters, Margarete Greulich and Anna Evans of St. Louis; a half-sister, Mrs. Clara Mills of Ashley; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
