The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Thursday, November 3, 1949, Funeral Today For Creek Child Funeral services for Terry Everett Creek, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Creek of 718 Main street, were held at 3:00 p. m. today at Myers Chapel. The Rev. Ross Partridge conducted the services and burial was in Oakwood cemetery. The child, born at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital Monday, died at 11 p. m. Tuesday. Surviving are the parents, Frank E. and Cecil Marie (Hayes) Creek; a brother, Thomas Lane Creek; and two sisters, Patricia June and Judith Lynn, at home.
