Kathryn "Kat" Kincaid, age 91, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at her home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. “Kat” was a waitress at Jones Snack Bar and was a homemaker and member of Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Jefferson County, Illinois with Reverend Gary Davenport presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Jefferson County, Illinois. Interment at Hams Grove Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois. Kathryn Kincaid was born on Wednesday, June 6, 1923 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to William Bryan & Jennie Myrtle (Chambers) Medders. She married Verner Neil Kincaid on May 17, 1941 and he preceded her in death on November 2, 1990. Her parents, her husband, one brother: Glen Medders and one son-in-law: Melvin Meador preceded her in death.
