    3. The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Wednesday, February 16, 1972 Frank Creek Gary Ind. Funeral services for Frank Creek, a former resident of Mt. Vernon who died in Gary Ind. will be held at the Park Avenue Baptist church at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, with burial in Oakwood cemetery. Rev. Everett Lemay will officiate. Friends may call at the church after noon Thursday. The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Saturday, February 19, Frank Creek Indiana Funeral services for Frank E. "Buss" Creek were held Thursday at the Park Avenue Baptist church, with the Rev. Everett Lemay officiating. Burial was at Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Creek, a former resident of Mt. Vernon and late of Gary, Ind., died Sunday as a result of injuries suffered in an auto accident. Mr. Creek was born March 14, 1918 at Enfield, Ill., the son of Frank and Flossie (Miller) Creek. He was married Dec. 25, 1937 to the former Marie Hayes of Mt. Vernon, who preceded him in death April 28, 1969. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Flossie Keele of Mt. Vernon; one son, Thomas of Gary, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Bruce of Merrillville, Ind., Mrs. Judith Ferrell and Miss Brenda Creek at home, both of Gary, Ind.; (sic.) ten grand children; one sister, Mrs. Jane Hayes of Woodlawn. Mr. Creek was preceded in death by his wife and one infant son, Terry. Mr. Creek was a foreman of new construction of General American Transportation Corporation.
