Mt. Vernon Register-News, Mt. Vernon, IL Wednesday, Sept 10, 2014 Hunter Alan Shelton, stillborn infant, of Dix, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon. He was born Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, in Mt. Vernon, the son of Greg Alan Shelton and Laura Nicole Collier. He is survived by his parents, Greg Alan Shelton and Laura Nicole Collier of Dix; maternal grandmother, Rebecca Holt of Rinard; paternal grandparents, Cathy and Allen Shelton of Mt. Vernon; three aunts; and two uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Faye Rush. Private services will be held.
