Hi, Can anyone tell me if there were death certificates or death notices issued in Jefferson County for the year 1871 or 1875? My 2x G-Grandfather Elijah Oard died in Jefferson County on August 18, 1871 and my 2xG-Grandmother Catherine Bullock Oard died sometime after Sept 19, 1875 and before January 1, 1876.
