Lori (Lisenby) Leonard contributed to our Jefferson County genealogy website and I just learned she passed away in 2011.  I don't think her obit was ever posted to our list.  So sad to see her gone too soon. Lisenby and Isabella Young.   Lori Lee Leonard Died: Saturday, August 20, 2011 Age: 51   Lori Lee Leonard, 51, Lake Geneva, formerly of Woodstock, Ill., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at her home. The former Lori Lee Lisenby was born May 23, 1960, in Woodstock, the daughter of the late George and Geneva Nichols Lisenby. She graduated from Woodstock Community High School in 1978. On Nov. 23, 1984, in Elkhorn, she married Ronald W. Leonard. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2009. She had served as a library aid at Big Foot High School for more than 10 years. She was an avid reader and was deeply involved in genealogy, tracing her family back to the 17th century. Lori is survived by three children, Jason Leonard, Lake Geneva; Amanda (Eric) Bestul, Iola, and Emily Leonard, Lake Geneva; a sister, Debbie (Dale) Rover, Troy, Mo.; and her father, Dennis (Bev) Conour, Mendota, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Geneva Lisenby. Services celebrating Lori’s life at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 26, in the chapel of the Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, with Dale Rover, Lori’s brother-in-law, officiating. Visitation Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials are requested in Lori’s name to The Vince Lombardi Cancer Care Center, 116 Dodge St., Burlington, WI, 53105.
