The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Monday, October 13, 1975 Edith Mick Mt. Vernon Mrs. Edith M. Mick, 70, of 900 S. 6th St., died at 6 a.m. Sunday at the Jeffersonian Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at. Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Lloyd Burge officiating. Burial will be in West Salem cemetery. Friends may call at Myers Chapel after 6 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Mick was born in Ashland on April 16, 1905, the daughter of Albert L. and Dealia (Creed) Antle. She was married to Orville Mick, who preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1966. Mrs. Mick was a member of the Free Methodist church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Doris) Edwards, Hammond, lnd., Mrs. William (Linda) Short, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Bob (Janet) Cook, Whittington; one son, Robert L. Mick, Ridgecrest, Calif.; two half-brothers, Otis Furry, Decatur, and James Jacobs, Rockford; six granddaughters and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one daughter, two brothers and two half-brothers.
