    3. The Mt Vernon Register-News, Monday, October 15, 1962 Joe Moore, Sr., Of Belle Rive, Dies At Age 61 Joe Glenn Moore, Sr., of Belle Rive, died at 11:15 a. m. Saturday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was 61 years, 11 months, and 12 days old. Mr. Moore was a former electrician with the Mt. Vernon Car Mfg. Co., and the J. P. Devine Company. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday at the Opdyke Missionary Baptist church, of which he was a member, with the Rev. A. B. Clodfelder and the Rev. R. L. Schlag officiating. Burial will be in West Salem cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 4:00 p. m. today. At noon Tuesday the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until the funeral hour. Mr. Moore was born Oct, 21, 1900, in Franklin county, the son of William Frank and Emma (Taylor) Moore. He was first married to Winnie Bean, who preceded him in death in April, 1955. On April 16, 1956, at Marion, he was married to Clara Cravens, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Trammel; a son, Joe G. Moore, Jr., both of Mt. Vernon; a step-son, William Paul Cravens of Rockford; three brothers, John Moore of Sandwich, Ill., Leonard Moore of Chicago and Herbert Moore of California; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Jones of Benton, and Mrs. Mabel Martin of Sandwich, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
