The Mt Vernon Register-News, Tuesday, April 19, 1955 Winnie Moore Of RFD l, Belle Rive Dies At Age 65 Mrs. Winnie Bean Moore, of RFD 1, Belle Rive, died at 9:30 last night at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, at the age of 65 years, one month and 27 days. Mrs. Moore, a former resident of Mt. Vernon, suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at 2:00 a. m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p. m. at Myers Chapel and burial will be in West Salem cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time after 10 a. m. Wednesday. Mrs. Moore was born February 21, 1890 in Johnson county, Ill., the daughter of Martin and Mary Alice (Woods) Bean. She was married to Joe G. Moore, Sr., who survives. She was a member of the Opdyke Methodist church. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy (Jim) Tranmel of Mt. Vernon; one son. Joe G. Moore, Jr. of Harrisburg; one brother, Dr. Earl C. Bean of St. Louis; and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Mrs. Agnes Sturman and Mrs. Pearl Wilder.
