Uselton of 1729 Jefferson died at 9:15 a. m. today at the Setzekorn Nursing Home, where he had lived for the past year. He was 90 year seven moths and 23 days old.. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at Myers Funeral Service. Mr. Uselton was born July 23, 1868 in Gallatin county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Uselton. In Gallatin county, in 1889, he was married to Sarah Wininger, who died in 1944. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Lucy Page, Mrs. Anna Coberly, Mrs. Edith Coberly, all of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Bessie Rumsey of Mountclair, Calif., and Josephine Spurlock of Jonesboro, Ill.; one son, William Uselton of Marion; and 34 grandchildren. Mr. Uselton, a retired drayman, was a member of the Free Will Baptist church. The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Tuesday, March 17, 1959 John A. Uselton Rites Wednesday Funeral services for John A. Uselton will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p. m, at Myers Chapel. The Rev. Howard Flota and the Rev. Floyd Hartley will officiate and burial will follow in West Salem cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 4:00 p. m. today. Mr. Uselton of 1729 Jefferson, died Monday morning at the age of 90 years.
