The Register-News, Mt. Vernon, IL August 14, 2014 Jeannine Marie Osborn, 83, of Mt. Vernon, died 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon. She was born Sunday, Aug. 2, 1931, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Clarence and Martha Lorene (Flannigan) Page. Jeannine worked in the laundry department at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon and was a bartender at several local area taverns. She was a member of the Turner Roehm AMVETS Post 4 Auxiliary and the Auxiliary to Mt. Vernon American Legion Post 141. She attended Meadowbrook Christian Church and was an avid bowler with Dick Webber Lanes and had won several trophies and participated in state bowling championships. She is survived by two daughters, Paula Jo Dent and husband Bill of Johns Island, S.C., and Marsha Osborn of Mt. Vernon; two sons, Steve Osborn and wife Christina of Spring Hill, Fla., and Paul Osborn and Donna of Mt. Vernon; stepson, Kenneth Lee Osborn and wife Jane of Wyoming; two stepdaughters, Robin Busenbark and husband Joe of Mt. Vernon and Terry Marshall and husband Brian of Warren; sister, Bille Sue Quick and husband Bill of Mt. Vernon; cousin, Pat Smith and husband Paul of Mt. Vernon; sister-in-law, JoAnn Osborn of Mt. Vernon; special friends, Cheryl Oliver and husband Kevin of Mt. Vernon, Betty Dixon of Mt. Vernon, Kathy McMurrin of Mt. Vernon and Jan Capps of Mt. Vernon; 19 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Jack Newby; and one brother, Richard A. Page. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Mr. Mike Sheets officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. For those who wish, memorials may be given to Turner Roehm AMVETS Post 4 of Mt.
