Reeker Dies At Age 59 Years; Funeral Tuesday Alphonso Latham Reeker, a resident of the Lowery Nursing Home, died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 59 years, eight months, and 24 days. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pulley Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Pulley Funeral Home where friends may call after 6:00 p.m. today. Mr. Reeker was born Oct. 31, 1905, in Aullville, Mo., the son of Frederick William and Anna Sophia (Mooring) Reeker. He is survived by five brothers. Hubert S. Reeker of RFD 1, Wellington, Mo., McKinley Reeker of RFD 3, Bluford, Prince and Monroe Reeker of Montevideo. Minn., and Monroe (sic.) Reeker of Decatur, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lorinda Newman of Oakdale, Pa., and Mrs. Irebe Blalock of Evansville, Ind. Mr. Reeker was a former riveter at the Mt. Vernon car shops.
