The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Monday, July 26, 1965 Clara Kincaid, Former Resident, Dies In St. Louis Mrs. Clara Kincaid of St. Louis died Sunday in Missouri Baptist Hospital in that city. She was a former resident of Mt. Vernon. Graveside rites will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Oakwood cemetery in this city with the Rev. Everett Lemay officiating. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Kincaid was born in Jefferson county, the son (sic.) of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Thompson. For many years, she was employed as a nurse at the Missouri Baptist Hospital. She is survived by a brother, Clyde Thompson of Pittsburg; a sister, Miss Grace Thompson of St. Louis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
