The gravestone of Charles E. Allen at Kirk shows he was born 24 May 1867 died 25 Mar 1939. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~iljeffer/iljeffe2/kirk/Mvc-1427s.jpg Wife? Nellied buried with him born 26 Dec 1880 died 28 Mar 1974. I have his 3rd wife as Nellie Powers d/o William "Willie" Powers and Nancy Helderman but don't have exact date they married. From 1900 census, it appears they were married about 1899 although Nellie and her husband's birth dates are different from their gravestone.
