    3. The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Friday, April 15, 1960 Mrs. Nannie Ward Dies Here Today Mrs. Nannie Ward of 1205 south 17th street died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl T. O'Daniell of 1223 south 23rd street. The body was taken to Myers Chapel. Funeral arrangements are incomplete The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Saturday, April 16, 1960. Funeral Tuesday For Nannie Ward Funeral services for Mrs. Nanmie Ward will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Myers Chapel with the Rev. David Lynch officiating. Burial will be in West Salem cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 11:00 a. m. Monday. Mrs. Ward, 71, who lived at 1205 south 27th street, died at 4:27 a. m. yesterday at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Earl O'Daniell, 1223 south 23rd street. Mrs. Ward was born Jan. 18, 1889, in Belle Rive, the daughter of Will and Rachel Crowder. She was married to Oscar Ward, who died July 27. 1955. (sic.) Survivors include two sons Charles Ward of Phoenix, Ariz., and Fred Ward of East Alton; four daughters, Mrs. Louise Nowland of Sesser, Mrs. Jean Enlow of East St. Louis, Mrs. Myrtle Loss and Moss (sic.) and Mrs. Mary Jane O'Daniell of Mt Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Brown of Cochella, Calif., and Mrs. Nell Sparimian of St. Louis; and 11 grandchildren. Mrs. Ward was a member of the First Church of God.
