    3. The Mt. Vernon Register-News, Wednesday, July 8, 1970 Isom Trowbridge Mt. Vernon Funeral services for Isom B. Trowbridge, 52, 229 Opdyke, who drowned Monday night while fishing at Lake Miller, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel. The Rev. Guy Roney will officiate and burial will be in West Salem Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 5 p.m. today. Mr. Trowbridge was born in Jefferson county on July 27, 1917, the son of Walter E. and Eliza (Carter) Trowbridge. Survivors include his mother; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Dye of Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Opal Hayes of Benton; a half sister, Mrs. Kathryn Chandler of Roberts, Ky.; and four half brothers, Walter Trowbridge and Larry Trowbridge, both of Mt. Vernon, Gary Trowbridge, serving with the U. S. Army in Germany, and Jimmie Trowbridge of East St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister and a half brother.
