Hard to tell on the 1860 census. Could be e or i but does not look a to me. Henry H. age 37 Mary age 20 Lucy A. age 12 James age 10 Jacob J. age 5 Jane age 1 Appears Henry was married previously. Certainly 20 year old Mary could not be mother of the older children.
