    3. The Register-News, Mt. Vernon, IL August 22, 2014 Edna Louise Neff, 83, of Mt. Vernon and formerly of Bluford, died 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at her home in Mt. Vernon. She was born Saturday, Aug. 8, 1931, in Wayne County, the daughter of J.O. and Dena (McDaniel) Donoho. She first married Robert O. Catron in 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1973. She later married the Rev. Raymond Ruthven Neff on Aug. 20, 1977, in Springfield and he preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 2012. Louise worked in the Garment Factory in Wayne City and later as a home CNA for Addus Health Care where she retired. She was a member of Bluford Church of God. She is survived by sons, Dr. David Catron and wife Sandy of Naples, Fla. and Paul Catron and wife Becky of Bluford; four grandchildren, Jillayne Colbert and husband James of Friendswood, Texas, Bethany Lindsey and husband Brandon of Seattle, Nathaniel Catron and wife Jessica of Vernon Hills and Jennifer Catron of New York City; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two brothers; and one sister. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bluford Church of God in Bluford with the Rev. Billie Ray officiating. Interment will be at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City. Visitation will be held from 1 until service time 3 p.m. Saturday at Bluford Church of God in Bluford. For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Leukemia Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864.
