Mt. Vernon Register-News Aug 29, 2014 Eula LaVerne Foshee, 97, of Mt. Vernon, died 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon. She was born Saturday, March 10, 1917, in Irvington, the daughter of Elmer Parke Outland and Cora LaVerne (Raines) Outland. She married James R. Foshee on Jan. 31, 1951, in Belvidere, and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2002. She is survived by daughter, Delores Findley of Fayetteville, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Sharon Breeze of Bluford; two grandchildren, James Findley of Houston and Carol Jackson of Georgia; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews; and sister, Clara Donoho of Mt. Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Robert Dean Hiltibidal; a grandson, Robert M. Hiltibidal; three brothers, Earl, Hubert and Millard Outland; and four sisters, Evelyn Sheilds, Pauline Williams, Omal Whalen and Eleanor Fritz. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oakdale Cemetery, north of Bluford in Jefferson County with the Rev. Richard Scott officiating. Interment will be at Oakdale Cemetery, north of Bluford in Jefferson County. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Oakdale Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864.
