Kiku and her husband Alvon G. Wetzel are buried at Fouts Cemetery, JCI. The Sarasota Herald-Tribune, FL, December 9, 2000 Kiku Wetzel , 83, Bradenton, died Dec. 8, 2000. She was born Aug. 23, 1917, in Japan and came to Manatee County in 1985 from St. Louis. She was a homemaker. She was of the Shintoism faith. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Alvon; and several brothers and sisters in Japan. Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 26th Street Chapel, is in charge.
