WALTONVILLE - Charles Ray Hall, 71, of Bonnie, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at his home. He was born in Waltonville on May 18, 1939, the son of John & Vada (Marlow) Hall. He married June Merriman on May 18, 1960, at the home of the Rev. Marsh Harpole; and she survives. He was member at Nason Free Will Baptist Church. After he retired, he got to do what he wanted to. He was a mechanic and ran Hall's Lawn Mower Repair for many years. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hall is survived by two sons, Kenneth Hall and Curtis Hall and wife Renee; a daughter, Shirley Zerr; grandchildren, Andrea Skropka and husband Robbie, Gregory, Jordan, Matthew, Christina and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Aidan, Trevin, Canaan and Wesley; a brother, Lloyd Hall and wife Marilyn; and three sisters, June Friar and husband John, Carolyn Sue Smith and husband Elza; and Marilyn Kay Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Karen; and a sister, Margaret. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with the Rev. John Capps officiating. Interment will follow at Abner Cemetery in Nason. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family requests that no flowers be sent. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home at anytime.
