James Michael Long was born at 8:43 a.m. Oct. 21, 2010, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. James is the son of Olivia Victoria and Brett Mathew Long of Wayne City. Maternal grandparents are Mike and Anne Shaw of Bluford. Paternal grandparents are Melissa Derham and John Long of Peoria.
