William Dee Risinger, 79, of Grayville, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at his home. He was born Feb. 4, 1931, in Olney, the son of Orland and Opal (Bass) Risinger. On June 5, 1950, he married Rosetta O'Donley and she survives. Bill was a warehouse manager. He was a Deacon of the Northside Baptist Church in Grayville and an active volunteer for Meadowood Nursing Home in Grayville, Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi and the Civil Defense. He was a Navy Korean War veteran and member of the American Legion and enjoyed singing, golf and guitar. Survivors include his wife, Rosetta Risinger of Grayville; two daughters and their husbands, Belinda and Randy Funkhouser of Grayville and Yvonne and Mahlon Hallam of Mt. Vernon; seven grandchildren, DeAndra (Mark) Martin, Kayla Funkhouser, Kaydee Funkhouser, Carissa Hallam, Anthony Hallam, Micki Hallam, Austin (Carrie) Hallam; and five great-grandchildren, Madison Martin, Alena Martin, Kelsie Martin, Rex Hallam and Leo Hallam. Visitation and funeral service will be today at Northside Baptist Church in Grayville. Visitation is at 4 p.m. and continues until the funeral at 5 p.m. Following the funeral service, Bill's remains will be cremated. Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville is in charge of arrangements.
