Kellen Levi Nix was born at 9:36 p.m. Oct. 23, 2010, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. Kellen is the son of Audra Renee and Kyle Christopher Nix of Dix. He is welcomed home by a sister, Halle Renee Nix. Maternal grandparents are Bert and Joy Kingsley of Kell. Paternal grandparents are Danny and Wanda Nix of Iuka.
